*There will be a half-term break on 19th Feb* Discover and Recover Your Creative Self: A 10-Week Journey with The Artist's Way “Without The Artist's Way, there would have been no Eat, Pray, Love.” —Elizabeth Gilbert Would you like to be more creative? Are you feeling blocked? Do you feel stuck around a new project? Unlock your creative potential with this 10wk course, inspired by Julia Cameron's seminal book, The Artist's Way. The course is designed for anyone looking to explore their creativity and unleash their inner artist (in the broadest meaning of the term!). Suitable for anyone interested in bringing more creativity into daily living. This includes seasoned artists, those just starting out (on any kind of creative path), as well as those who don’t see themselves as creative at all. You will overcome creative blocks through exploring your limiting beliefs and fears and replacing them with a greater sense of integrity, possibility and abundance. What to Expect Over the course of 10 weeks, you'll dive deep into the practices and exercises that have helped millions of people reconnect with their creative selves. This includes working with three practices central to Julia Cameron’s work: Morning Pages, Artist Dates and regular walks. Each week, you'll explore a new theme from the book, such as recovering a sense of identity, safety, or power. There will also be an invitation to engage in creative exercises that can help generate a greater sense of play, freedom and spontaneity. Why Join This Course? Life is busy for many of us. Committing to the process with like-minded people, will allow you to tap into group support, encouragement and inspiration, as well as inviting gentle accountability. Materials You will need a copy of the book to attend the course, and to get the most out of your attendance you should set aside extra time during the week for assignments. Your tutor Bella Cranmore is an Integrative Therapist based in Brighton. She trained at Re- Vision in London, which explores a creative soul-based approach to living, drawing on myth, fairytales, mark making and ritual (Bella's full bio is on her tutor page).
