Restorative Yoga Workshop in Brighton Take a break at the weekend and drop into the stillness of a Restorative Yoga evening workshop in Brighton. This gentle, slow-paced, meditative form of yoga allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your mind and body. By softening and relaxing into postures with as little muscular and mental effort as possible, your body is better able to rest, heal and restore. Why choose this course? Restorative yoga stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system – rest & digest - which slows the heart rate, regulates the blood pressure and produces a feeling of calm and emotional wellbeing, leaving you feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated. Regular practice can also help boost the immune system and accelerate the body's natural healing process. It can also help ease the physical and mental symptoms of stress such as headaches, backaches, anxiety and insomnia. Suitable for those suffering from chronic illness or recovering from an injury or for anybody who is looking for a gentle, slow-paced meditative form of yoga. No yoga experience is necessary. Your tutor Eva is a registered and insured Yoga Instructor with several different schools. Her teachings are influenced by these traditional schools of yoga and her focus is deeply on Traditional ways of teaching with a focus on awareness and mindful movement.
