Midday Restorative Yoga: Rest, Repair, Rejuvenate

Take a break in the middle of the day and drop into the stillness of a Restorative Yoga class.

This gentle, slow-paced, meditative form of yoga allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your mind and body. By softening and relaxing into postures with as little muscular and mental effort as possible, your body is better able to rest, heal and restore.

Restorative yoga stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system – rest & digest - which slows the heart rate, regulates the blood pressure and produces a feeling of calm and emotional wellbeing, leaving you feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated. Regular practice can also help boost the immune system and accelerate the body's natural healing process. 

This class is beneficial if you are suffering from chronic illness or recovering from an injury. It can also help ease the physical and mental symptoms of stress such as headaches, backaches, anxiety and insomnia.

The Buddhist Centre is situated in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine, where you’ll find plenty of unique places enjoy an after class fresh juice or healthy lunch.

Who is the tutor?

Eva is a registered and insured Yoga Instructor with several different schools.  Her teachings are influenced by these traditional schools of yoga and her focus is deeply on Traditional way of teaching with focus on awareness and mindful movement to reach to the core of our being beyond any program we might have running through our system.
