What happens if I miss a class?Missing a class is a shame for you but should not affect your course too much. Ideally, we would like to know if you are going to miss a class so we can inform your tutor. He or she will attempt to pass on any notes/homework where applicable.
-
What do I need to wear? For yoga classes wear loose, comfortable clothing. For art classes we suggest you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Refunds & CancellationsChanged your mind? There is a 72-hour “cooling off” period from the point of booking (and payment) when you may request a full refund for a course/workshop which has not yet started or is not due to start during that 72-hour period. 72 hours after payment and booking, and at least 10 days before the start of a course/workshop, students may request a partial refund (a £10 admin charge will be retained for each cancelled course/workshop). Also within this time period, students may transfer the course fee to pay for another course offered by Evolution. If the course fee for the new course is a lesser cost, the remainder can be refunded (subject to a £10 administration fee) or be used as a credit to a further course or workshop. Cancellations less than 10 days before the start of a course/workshop (or after the course has started) will not be eligible for a refund or transferal to another course. However, if there are exceptional circumstances such as a serious medical condition, requests may be made in writing for a full or partial credit (emails to info@evolutionarts.org.uk). This credit can be used as part payment for any course or workshop within 12 months. A medical certificate or letter from a medical professional will be required. Please bear in mind that Evolution Arts is a registered charity (No.1133828) and to operate successfully it’s important that we adhere to this policy.
-
Cancellation of coursesOn rare occasions we may cancel under-subscribed courses/workshops. As late bookings can be frequent any such decision is made as late as possible. If a cancellation is necessary, we will give those booked two days notice by phone and a full refund. You may wish to check your course is going ahead before buying art materials, etc.
-
ConcessionsEvolution Arts tries to keep its prices as affordable as possible. Concessions on course fees are available to: Under-25s Unwaged Over-65s Due to the current financial climate and difficulties faced by many people we are applying our concessions policy lightly. If your circumstances make a course unaffordable at the full price, please feel free to email the office and we will consider your position and may well offer you a concessionary rate. Concessions are not available on evening courses where there is a daytime equivalent.
-
Bookings for Young PeopleWe are an adult education centre - unfortunately we are not able to accept bookings for Under-18s on our courses and workshops.
