COVID-19 Guidance

We are pleased to announce that the Arts Centre will be opening up for small courses and workshop at the end of September.

Everyone's health and safety in the building is at the heart of our return so we've introduced new safety procedures and guidance for tutors and students.  You will be sent our safety requirements on booking.

What we are doing:

  • Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place and we will be following government advice on social distancing.
  • We have reduced the size of our classes and will be making sure rooms are well ventilated.  In our old building this will mean that windows will be open, whatever the weather, so although there will be heating you may need to wear extra layers.
  • Classes will start and finish at unique times so there will be no “cross” traffic in the corridors.
  • Face coverings must be worn in corridors and we strongly encourage wearing of face masks during your session (course/class specific information will be provided on booking).
  • We will be asking you to use antiviral gel to clean your hands on arrival and to maintain good hygiene throughout your stay in the building.
  • Entry will be through our Sillwood Terrace entrance.

Any staff member, Tutor or a person attending a class who feels unwell in any way must not come to the premises.
