Everyday Escapes: Manage Your Frazzle, Get Some Headspace & Drop The Digital

Tutor: Stephanie Lam
Location: Brighton Buddhist Centre, Tichborne Street
Next start date: Saturday 16 October, 10.30am - 1.30pm

This is the self care workshop for people who don’t do self care. If you’re time-poor and responsibility-heavy, gift yourself three hours to discover how the solution to your frazzle doesn’t lie in a great escape to the Tuscan hills or a Swiss spa retreat. You have all the tools you need right now, and this will be your guide on how to use them.

During the session, you’ll learn how to create everyday mini escapes, using simple tricks and a change in routines that will alter your neural wiring and make you happier, calmer, and return to you some precious headspace. It’s not mindfulness, and it’s not about carving time away from your daily life, but instead changing your approach to life, and how you do things in ways you might not have considered.

In the workshop you’ll learn:

  • What frazzle is, what it does, and how it’s affecting you.
  • How to drop your less-than-helpful digital habits.
  • Two principles that will stop your frazzle, and how to apply them to your life.
  • Simple ways to put in place the foundation for a better night’s sleep.

This workshop will be fun, positive and supportive. You’ll learn from each other, do some activities, and come away with a practical plan for your future.
