Shamanic Journeying - A Creative Approach to Living Well

Tutors: Annie Sheppard & Karen Smith
Location: Evolution Arts, 2 Sillwood Terrace, Brighton BN1 2LR
Next start date: weekend workshop, Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 April 2018

  • Learn the sacred art of shamanic journeying
  • Practice techniques from the creative and moving arts as pathways to deeper knowing and personal change
  • A creative, experiential course where you can explore questions that matter to you

What does this workshop cover?

In this workshop you’ll learn the sacred art of shamanic journeying, an ancient method of accessing non-ordinary awareness for wisdom and healing. While honouring ancient tradition, we also weave in techniques from somatic movement and the creative arts. We’ll journey to the rhythm of drums and rattles, then work with story, image, drawing, clay, and movement to more deeply explore what we discover.

You don't have to be skilled in any of these arts forms to take part. Our aim is to make this powerful work clear and accessible, and we hope you’ll leave with many wonderful resources for living well – from making important decisions, to overcoming writer’s block, to living with more spirit and joy.
