Mindfulness and Compassion

Tutor: Annie Akasati McAuley
Location: Evolution Arts, 2 Sillwood Terrace, Brighton BN1 2LR
Next start date: Friday 28 Feb 2020

On this course you will receive a practical introduction to the qualities of mindfulness and compassion, with support to cultivate these life-enhancing qualities in your own life. You will be guided in core mindfulness practices, with opportunities to explore what mindfulness is (and what it isn't!) and how it helps alleviate stress, anxiety, low mood and depression. You will also be introduced to practices to encourage more compassionate responses, starting with the person you spent most time with - yourself! The kinder we are to ourselves, the more positivity we are able to bring to our interactions with others.
